Salim Baig

Salim Baig, MS, PMP, CIPM, is a highly experienced professional in data security and privacy, currently serving as the Director of Data Security and Protection at OneAmerica since June 2022. Salim leads IT initiatives to ensure compliance with various regulations while developing standards and policies using NIST Cyber Security and Privacy Frameworks. Prior to this role, Salim held positions at Accenture as a Data Privacy and Information Security Manager, where efforts included the establishment of the GDPR framework, and as a DevOps Manager, optimizing deployment strategies for health and public service clients in Ohio and Iowa. Experience also includes a significant tenure at AT&T, contributing to cloud offerings and managing technical teams. Salim's career began at BellSouth International as an Analyst Programmer, emphasizing application re-platforming and deployment. Educationally, Salim holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of South Carolina.
