Tonya Sanders

Tonya Sanders, J.D., serves as the Director of Legal Services and Associate General Counsel at OneAmerica, a position held since November 2005, where significant accomplishments include negotiating reduced legal fees and developing an enterprise record retention policy that yielded substantial cost savings. Previously, Tonya held the role of Assistant General Counsel at American United Life and served on the board of the YWCA of Indianapolis. Tonya began their legal career as an Attorney at Bingham McHale from September 2000 to November 2003. Academically, Tonya earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government with a focus on Law & Society from Purdue University.
