Remy Farkas

Remy Farkas is currently serving as an SEC Legal Scholar at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and as Executive Editor for the American University Business Law Review. As a law student at American University Washington College of Law, Farkas has gained valuable experience as a Summer Associate at Holland & Knight LLP, focusing on mergers and acquisitions for publicly traded banks and government contractors. Prior teaching experience includes serving as a 7th Grade Civics Teacher at Miami-Dade County Public Schools, where innovative curriculum modifications were implemented for under-resourced students. Farkas's background also includes work with the U.S. Department of Education and significant editorial roles for The Michigan Daily, demonstrating a commitment to education and journalism. Farkas holds a Doctor of Law degree from American University and multiple graduate degrees in Education from Johns Hopkins University.
