Khaled Ali

Khaled Ali is an accomplished Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at the American University in Dubai since September 2016. With a robust academic background, including a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary, Khaled specializes in teaching Analog and Digital Communication Systems, Wireless Communications, and Digital Signal Processing, among other subjects. Research interests encompass Engineering Education and simulation and modelling. Khaled has actively contributed to various managerial and administrative tasks such as committee memberships related to curriculum evaluation and ABET accreditation, and has designed advanced courses for both undergraduate and master's programs. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University, and Research Assistant positions at the University of Calgary, University of Waterloo, and the University of Ottawa, where expertise in localization techniques, interference cancellation, and wireless sensor networks was developed. Khaled also possesses engineering experience from an internship at Stone & Webster.
