Carla Chalhoub

Carla Chalhoub has a background in library services and research. Carla started their career at the American University of Beirut as a Library Assistant in the Serials Department from April 2004 to December 2007. In 2008, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Wayne State University. Carla then returned to the American University of Beirut, where they held various roles including Reference and Instruction Librarian from January 2009 to August 2012, and Head of Access Services Department / Social Sciences Liaison Librarian from September 2012 onwards.

Carla Chalhoub earned a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University in 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Education from the American University of Beirut, which they completed between 2000 and 2004.
