Diana Abi-Said serves as the President of the Food Heritage Foundation since February 2022, having built a robust career in academia and wildlife conservation. At the American University of Beirut, Diana holds the role of Senior Admin Coordinator for the Environment and Sustainable Development Unit and Senior Program Administrator for the Rural Community Development Masters Program, which emphasizes rural development dynamics in the Global South. Diana co-founded the Animal Encounter Educational Center for Wildlife Conservation, which offers programs focused on nature and wildlife conservation for schools and camps. Previously, Diana was a founding member of the Lebanese Evaluation Association, promoting the science of evaluation in Lebanon, and served as a lab instructor and departmental assistant in the Crop Production and Protection Department at the American University of Beirut from 1991 to 2000. Diana holds an M.Sc. in Plant Sciences - Agronomy from the American University of Beirut and studied Spanish at the Centre Culturel Espagnol.
