Mahmud Shihab

Mahmud Shihab, Ph.D., is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in technology and instructional design at International College since 1996, currently serving as Vice President for Educational Services. Shihab has held multiple roles, including Director of Technology, overseeing educational technology initiatives, and Director of the Educational Resources Center, managing various academic programs aimed at enhancing educational leadership. As a Moodle Administrator, Shihab implemented the first comprehensive online learning management system in Lebanon for the institution. In addition to contributions at International College, Shihab has served as an Educational Technology Consultant and Lecturer at several prominent universities, including the American University of Beirut, teaching a range of courses in educational technology. Shihab holds a Ph.D. in Computing Technology in Education and multiple degrees from the American University of Beirut, including a Master’s in Science Education and Instructional Technology.
