Prof. Mariette Awad

Prof. Mariette Awad is a Tenured Associate Professor at the American University of Beirut, where research focuses on artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, and the Internet of Things since February 2008. Prior to this role, Mariette served as an Assistant Professor at IBM from May 2001 to December 2007, working as a Wireless Engineer. Mariette holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the American University of Beirut and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Vermont.
