Yara Yazbek

Yara Yazbek is a dedicated public health professional currently serving as a Research Assistant and Digital Marketing Lead at the American University of Beirut since March 2022. Yara's experience includes a recent role as Health Promotion Officer for Médecins Sans Frontières from January to March 2024, and previously worked as a Psychosocial and Emotional Supporter at Be Brave Beirut from August 2021 to August 2022. Yara also contributed as a Research Assistant for the United Nations from September to November 2021. Yara holds a Master of Public Health with a focus on Health Promotion and Community Health from the American University of Beirut, expected in May 2024, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the same institution, completed in 2021. Academic foundation includes A-Levels obtained at Abu Dhabi International Private School.
