Alexis Fuentes

Alexis Fuentes currently serves as the Assistant Director for Program Initiatives at the Center for Student Involvement at American University, overseeing event directors and staff for diverse programs that engage 15,000 students. Responsibilities include supervising a graduate assistant, developing policies for the Student Activity Council, managing budgets, and collaborating with stakeholders for major events. Prior to this role, Alexis worked as the Student Programs Coordinator at the University of South Florida, managing an $800,000 budget and supervising various student programs while leading recruitment efforts. Experience also includes advisory roles at the Interfraternity Council and positions at Indiana University, focusing on event planning and coordination for large-scale programs.
