Christine Lagana Riordan, PhD has a diverse work experience in various research and leadership roles. Christine currently serves as the Director of the Office of Research at the American Urological Association since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Director of Research and Evaluation at Ripple Effect from 2016 to 2022. Before that, they held multiple roles at the Behavioral and Social Health Outcomes Program, US Army Public Health Center, including Program Manager, Chief of Field Studies, Qualitative Team Lead, and Social Science Researcher from 2009 to 2016. Christine also worked as a PhD Student and Research Associate at The University of Texas at Austin from 2006 to 2009 and as a School Social Worker at St. Elizabeth School from 2004 to 2006.

Christine Lagana Riordan, PhD has an extensive education history in the field of Social Work. Christine began their academic journey by completing their Bachelor's Degree in Social Work at Hood College from 1998 to 2003. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at the University of Maryland School of Social Work, where they obtained a Master's Degree from 2003 to 2004.

Driven by their passion for Social Work, Riordan continued their educational pursuits and enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Social Work from 2006 to 2011. Christine'sdoctoral research further developed their expertise in the field.

In addition to their academic achievements, Riordan has obtained certification as a Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical from the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners in January 2007. This certification reflects their commitment to maintaining a high standard of professional practice within the field of Social Work.
