Jon Hambacker

Jon Hambacker has a diverse work experience across various industries. Jon started their career as a University of Missouri Career Specialist at the MU Career Center from October 2013 to December 2015. Jon then worked as an English Language Instructor at the Jeollanam-do Language Program Office of Education in July 2015. In January 2016, they joined the APLU - Association of Public and Land-Grant Universities as part of the Congressional and Governmental Affairs team until July 2016. Simultaneously, they also worked as the SAF Legislative Liaison Staff at the United States Air Force from July to October 2016.

In February 2017, Jon became the English Center Curriculum Coordinator at EPIK (English Program in Korea) and held this role until March 2019. In March 2015, they started working at the University of Missouri as a Neuromarketing Researcher (NIH Project Manager) until January 2016. Jon also served as an Ambassador for the Multicultural Certificate Program at the University of Missouri from December 2014 to January 2016.

Jon then transitioned into the field of videography and photography. Jon founded Pinnacle | Creative Visual Strategies in July 2017, where they served as the Owner and Director of Photography. Additionally, in August 2019, they became a UAS Commercial Pilot at the same company.

In October 2021, Jon joined the American Veterans Center as the Director of Photography. In this role, they capture the stories of veterans using specialized lighting techniques, multi-camera motion setups, and redundant audio systems to ensure high-quality documentation.

- From 2011 to 2015, they attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and obtained a Bachelor of Journalism degree, with an emphasis in Strategic Communication. Additionally, during the same period, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from the same institution.

- Prior to their university education, from 2008 to 2011, they attended Salem R-80 School District and completed their high school studies in General Studies.

- In terms of additional certifications, they obtained an FAA Part 107 Commercial Drone Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in August 2019. Furthermore, in an unspecified year, they also achieved an Advanced Scuba Diver certification from NAUI Worldwide.
