Heather Jensen has a strong background in marketing and association management. Heather started their career in 1997 as a Staff Associate at the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. In 1999, they joined the American Marketing Association as the Director of Chapters, where they developed and implemented marketing strategies for a professional association. In 2007, they became a Customer Community Manager at SPSS Inc., and later moved on to the American Veterinary Medical Association as the Division Director of Marketing in 2009. Heather has experience managing programs, budgets, and marketing for various organizations.

Heather Jensen received their education from two different universities. From 1992 to 1994, they attended DePaul University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1992, they attended Butler University, although no specific degree name is mentioned during their time there. Heather'sfield of study at Butler University was theater.
