Dr. Christina Chard

Dr. Christina Chard is an experienced professional in rates, regulatory support, and forensic accounting. Currently serving as Director of Rates and Regulatory Support at American Water since December 2017, Dr. Chard has also held multiple leadership roles within the company and operates Chard Consulting Services, LLC, offering expertise in forensic accounting and cybersecurity. An accomplished educator, Dr. Chard has been an adjunct professor at the University of Charleston since January 2019 and has taught courses in financial forensics. With a Doctor of Executive Leadership and a Master of Forensic Accounting from the University of Charleston, Dr. Chard combines a strong academic background with extensive industry experience, including significant roles in IT financial management and service delivery.
