Hilary Clark

Senior Director, Siting & Permitting, Social Licensing at American Wind Energy Association

Hilary serves as ACP’s Director of Social License, Siting and Permitting. She has more than 18 years of experience as a land use and environmental planning professional, with 15 years as a consultant where she managed and prepared base-line siting and environmental review documentation and permit applications for renewable energy projects. She is the ACP staff liaison for the Land Use Committee and Local Affairs Committee, leading the efforts on state and local siting, permitting, and community engagement issues for renewable energy projects. She helps guide non-wildlife regulatory and policy direction for deployment of renewable energy projects. She works closely with the ACP’s State Affairs and Communications Teams to advance industry interests, as well as working with ACP’s standards development bodies. Hilary has a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of San Diego and a master’s degree in International Environmental Policy from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
