Matthew Hunter

Matthew Hunter, CBO, BCO, has extensive experience in the field of building codes and inspections. Currently serving as the CBO, BCO, and Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager at the American Wood Council, Matthew is responsible for overseeing thirteen states in the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions. Prior to this, Matthew worked as a Building Code Official at Pennoni Associates, providing services to municipal clients in Pennsylvania. Additionally, Matthew is a Sustainability Membership Council Member at the International Code Council. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Ornamental Horticulture & Environmental Design from Delaware Valley University and has also received military education and training from the United States Army.
