Paul Joachimczyk is the vice president of finance and chief financial officer for American Woodmark. He joined the company in 2019 as vice president of financial planning and analysis. He was promoted into his current role leading all financial matters and helping set the strategic direction for the company to ensure long-term fiscal stability
Paul received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. He began his career with Ernst and Young, LLC. For the past 15 years he has been in leadership and financial roles working for the General Electric Company, Stanley Black and Decker, Inc. and TopBuild Corp. He brings 20+ years of progressive experience in financial matters through his roles at several multinational corporations.
American Woodmark’s culture was the main driving factor behind Paul’s decision to join the company. He truly believes that people should be treated with dignity and respect both at work and throughout their entire lives. He takes the time to reflect on current decisions and strives to be better each day and inspires the same in his team members.
A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Paul, his wife and three children live in Winchester, Virginia. They enjoy biking, swimming, skiing and traveling. The family also enjoys watching the Green Bay Packers.
