Ivo Medeiros

Ivo Medeiros is an experienced data science professional with a diverse background spanning over a decade. Currently serving as Data Science Manager at Americanas S.A. since November 2021, Ivo previously held the position of Head of Data at Konduto, focusing on fraud prevention. Past roles include Data Science Manager and AI & Data Scientist at Loggi, as well as working as an Ad hoc AI & Data Science Consultant for various clients, including Novo Nordisk and Baseline Telematics. Ivo's earlier career includes significant contributions at Embraer as an R&D Engineer and Flight Safety Engineer, where expertise in decision support systems and flight data analysis was developed. Additionally, Ivo has provided technology consulting at Letrus, conducted research at Instituto de Estudos Avançados, and lectured at Universidade Paulista. Ivo holds a Doctorate Candidate status in Applied Computing from the National Institute for Space Research, along with a Master’s degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidade Federal do Pará.
