Tony West

Tony West serves as the State Director for Americans for Prosperity since October 2015, after previously holding the position of Deputy State Director for Georgia. In this role, Tony manages field teams, sets strategic goals, engages with civic and political groups, lobbies legislators on key issues, and organizes educational events focusing on economic freedom. Prior to this, Tony was a Budget & Policy Analyst at the Governor's Office of Planning and Budget, where responsibilities included maintaining relationships with various state agencies and tracking budget and policy concerns. Earlier roles included a Legislative Tracking Intern and a Researcher/Writer at the Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education. Tony holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from The University of Georgia and a Master of Arts in Public Policy from Georgia State University.
