David Teolis

David Teolis has a wealth of experience in economic analysis and forecasting, with a focus on international markets, currencies, and commodities. David has held various positions at General Motors, including Deputy Chief Economist for International Markets, FX & Commodities, and has worked extensively on economic analyses and forecasts for different regions across the globe. Prior to their time at GM, they held roles at Hudson Institute as a Research Fellow and Herman Kahn Fellow. Currently, they are working as the Chief Economist at ACT Research Co.

David Teolis completed their Bachelor of Arts degree with Distinction in Economics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1985. David then went on to earn their Master of Science degree in Finance from the same institution in 1988. Later, from 1989 to 1996, they pursued both a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. in Economics at Indiana University Bloomington.
