April Ales

April Ales is a seasoned professional in the credit union industry, currently serving as the Director of League Engagement for America's Credit Unions since January 2024. Ales acts as the primary liaison between state leagues and the organization, promoting engagement and participation. Previously, Ales held roles at Credit Union National Association as an Engagement Consultant, ensuring that America's credit unions' needs were met, and at the League of Southeastern Credit Unions as Vice President of Membership Relations, leading efforts to enhance membership and support chapter needs. With a foundation in administrative roles at Florida A&M University Federal Credit Union and a strong educational background including a Juris Master in Financial Regulations & Compliance and dual Bachelor's degrees in Criminology and Sociology from Florida State University, Ales brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the field.
