Samantha Block is an experienced culinary professional with a strong background in editorial and kitchen roles. Currently serving as an Associate Editor and Test Cook at America's Test Kitchen since December 2018, Samantha has previously worked as a host for Holland America Line and held various culinary positions, including Sous Chef at The Gables Historic Inn & Restaurant and Executive Pastry Chef at Buddakan. Samantha's culinary journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts & Food Service Management from Johnson & Wales University, complemented by a certificate in French Studies from Excelia.
