Angelia M.

Angelia M. has a diverse work experience, starting as a Community Leadership Consultant at Highline College in 2015. Angelia supervised the college's student clubs program and conducted in-depth training for club officers and faculty members. Angelia then worked as an Immigration and Outreach Intern for U.S. Senator Patty Murray, where they sent direct inquiries on immigration matters. In 2017, they joined AmeriCorps VISTA as a Summer Associate, supporting the Des Moines Area Foodbank and engaging with youth from multicultural communities. Angelia also worked at the University of Washington as an Orientation Leader, representing the university and assisting incoming students. Angelia held multiple roles at ASUW, including Director of University Affairs, where they advocated for students and oversaw the Office of Government Relations. Angelia also served as an Administrative Assistant to the Personnel Director, managing front desk operations and personnel records. Angelia worked as a Communications Intern at Global Washington in 2019. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Director of Strategy at America Works of New York, Inc.

Angelia M. completed their Associate's Degree in French at Highline College from 2014 to 2016. Angelia then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and Philosophy from the University of Washington, which they completed from 2016 to 2019.
