Christy Bahl, CPA, CMA

Christy Bahl has a range of accounting and financial experience. Christy worked at Americhem Inc. starting in 2012, where they held several roles including Assistant Corporate Controller and Accounting Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for accurate and timely updates to the Oracle general ledger structure and reports, as well as monthly and year-end closes. Christy also provided support for newly-acquired companies on general ledger and Oracle reports. Prior to working at Americhem Inc., Christy worked at The J.M. Smucker Company as a Senior Financial Analyst, where they performed research on new accounting pronouncements and assisted with XBRL implementation. Christy started their career at Cohen & Company as a Staff Accountant, performing audits, reviews, and compilations for various industries. Christy also prepared financial statements and tax returns.

Christy Bahl, CPA, CMA, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Ashland University, which they completed from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accounting from the University of Mount Union, graduating between 2004 and 2007. In January 2016, Christy obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Accountancy Board of Ohio. Christy then obtained the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from the Institute of Management Accountants in January 2017.
