Emma W. has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Emma'smost recent role is as a Portfolio Manager at the Corporation for National and Community Service, where they started in April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Grants Coordinator at the Municipality of Norristown from April 2020 to March 2021.

Emma's longest tenure was with Montgomery County, PA, where they served as the Your Way Home Programs Coordinator from November 2014 to March 2020. In this role, they provided technical assistance, training, and completed major HUD reports for HMIS projects to evaluate system performance. Emma also took on various complex activities, including racial equity evaluation, homeless counts, monitoring, and invoicing guidelines development for homeless services' providers.

Before joining Montgomery County, Emma worked at the Housing Equality Center (formerly Fair Housing Council of Suburban Philadelphia) as a Test Coordinator from June 2011 to November 2014. Emma'sresponsibilities included conducting testing, investigation, and enforcement related to compliance with the Fair Housing Act (FHA), as well as volunteer recruitment and management.

Emma's career began with an AmeriCorps VISTA role at the County of Chester Department of Community Development from August 2010 to June 2011. Emma primarily assisted the Community Services Team with the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP), as well as projects associated with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

In addition to their professional experiences, Emma worked as an intern at The Phoenix Newspaper, where they served as a Feature Writer, and at the Chester County Historical Society. Emma also held the position of US Representative for Virtual Cultural XChange, Nigeria/USA at College World Reporter.

Prior to their internships, Emma worked as an Administrative Assistant at Penn Tank Lines, Inc. from 2008 to 2010. Emma also attended Cheyney University of PA as a student from 2007 to 2010.

Emma W. has a diverse education history. Emma began their academic journey at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology from 2000 to 2002, where they earned an Associate degree in Applied Sciences with a focus on Office Administration. Following this, they attended Cheyney University of Pennsylvania from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Communication, General. In 2019, Emma pursued further education at Delaware Valley University, completing their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2020. Currently, they are enrolled at Villanova University, where they are working toward earning a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in the field of Public Administration.
