Chester Ho

Chester Ho, MD has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Chester is currently serving as the Senior Vice President Medical Officer at AmeriHealth Caritas, where they are responsible for developing a clinical model of care that improves the health outcomes of Medicaid and Medicare members. Prior to this role, they held the position of VP, Population Health at the same company.

Before joining AmeriHealth Caritas, Dr. Ho worked at Indiana University Health for over two decades. Chester served as a Riley Pediatrician at IU Health Arnett, providing general pediatrics and pediatric travel medicine services. Chester also held various leadership positions, including Medical Director of Population Health and Medical Director of Primary Care. In these roles, they led the design and implementation of a population health system of care, developed partnerships with employers, brokers, insurers, hospitals, clinics, and physicians, and managed a multi-specialty primary care group.

Dr. Ho also worked as the Chief Medical Officer, Health Alliance Medical Plans & Population Health at Carle Health. Additionally, they held multiple positions at Evolent Health, including Chief Medical Officer, Medicaid; Regional Chief Medical Officer; and Market Medical Director. In these roles, they oversaw health system partnerships, implemented healthcare innovation models, and led population health transformation initiatives.

Furthermore, Dr. Ho served on the Board of Directors of Arnett Health Plans, a physician-led health plan that provided HMO and PPO products to patients in the Tippecanoe County area. Chester'sresponsibilities included serving on the board and participating in various committees.

Throughout their career, Dr. Ho has demonstrated their commitment to improving patient care, developing innovative healthcare models, and establishing strategic partnerships.

Chester Ho, MD completed their education at the Purdue University where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General in 1993. Chester then went on to attend The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine in 1997.
