Craig Byrkit

Craig Byrkit is an accomplished information security leader with extensive experience in both academia and various corporate environments. Currently serving as Vice President and Information Security Officer at Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC since October 2022, Craig also teaches as an Adjunct Professor at Washington University in St. Louis, focusing on cyber intrusion trends and emerging threats. Previous roles include Vice President of Global Information Security and Data Protection Officer at Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated, and Vice President of Global Information Security and Privacy Officer at RGAX, where responsibilities spanned cybersecurity and data privacy governance globally. Additionally, Craig led the Information Systems Threat, Vulnerability, Cyber Risk, and Privacy areas at Edward Jones and was a Supervisory Special Agent at the FBI, where notable achievements included developing the first St. Louis FBI Cyber Task Force.
