John Exum

John Exum has a broad range of work experience, starting as a Summer Associate at Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan in 2009. John then worked as an Intern at The Krystal Company in 2010 before becoming an Associate at Stokes Roberts & Wagner, ALC in 2011. After that, they served as an Associate Counsel at Flowers Foods from 2013 to 2016. Exum joined Ameris Bank in 2016, initially as VP & Corporate Counsel before being promoted to Senior Vice President & Corporate Counsel. John also became an Advisory Committee Member at Ameris Bank Foundation in 2020.

John Exum completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Economics at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 2003 to 2007. John then went on to obtain their Juris Doctor degree in Law from Samford University from 2007 to 2010. John Exum also holds certifications as a Registered Civil Mediator from the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution in 2019, a Georgia Bar License from the State Bar of Georgia in 2011, and a Tennessee Bar License from the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee in 2010.
