Jorge L. Perez

Jorge L. Perez is an accomplished information security leader with extensive experience in both corporate and cybersecurity roles. Currently serving as the EVP and Chief Information Security Officer at Ameris Bank, Jorge has previously held key positions including SVP, Divisional CISO and Merger Integration Leader, as well as SVP of Cyber Integration at Truist. Jorge's background also includes significant leadership roles at InterContinental Hotels Group, where responsibilities spanned Global Information Security Services and Compliance, and at KPMG US, where Jorge was involved in the Cyber practice as a Manager and Senior Associate. Earlier in the career, Jorge gained foundational experience at Carnival Cruise Lines as an IT Technical Support Level II Analyst in Information Systems.
