Neil Hollifield

Neil Hollifield has a strong background in the banking industry, with progressive roles in reputable institutions. Neil started as a Vice-President at MountainBank/Carolina First Bank in 2001 and later became a Sr. Vice-President at Mountain 1st Bank & Trust in 2004. During their time at Mountain 1st Bank & Trust, they played a key role in building a successful community bank. In 2011, Neil moved to United Federal Credit Union, where they held positions as a Senior Commercial Loan Officer and later as a Business Services Advisor for North Carolina. Most recently, they joined Ameris Bank in 2021 as the Director of USDA Lending, and quickly rose to the position of Managing Director of Government Guaranteed Lending in 2022. Throughout their career, Neil has demonstrated expertise in commercial lending and bank operations.

Neil Hollifield obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Western Carolina University in 1998. Neil later pursued a Graduate Certificate in Banking from the ABA Stonier National Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania from 2006 to 2009. In 2008, they also earned a Professional Certificate in Executive Leadership from The Wharton School.
