Raphael Mejia

Raphael Mejia has over a decade of experience in the mortgage industry, currently serving as the Underwriting Team Lead at Ameris Bank since June 2019. Prior to this role, Raphael held positions at BrandMortgage as a DE Underwriter and at PREO Mortgage LLC as Operations Manager, where responsibilities included hiring, training, and supervising operations staff while implementing departmental policies. Additional experience includes roles as a Senior Loan Processor at MiLEND, Inc. and Aasent Mortgage, as well as a Government Loan Processor at AmeriSave Mortgage Corporation. Raphael Mejia graduated from New Hanover High School with a College Prep diploma in 1997.
