Bob Norton

Bob Norton, CPA, MS Tax, is an accomplished tax professional with extensive experience in the global tax landscape. Currently serving as SVP of Global Tax Operations at AmerisourceBergen since April 2019, Bob oversees a team managing various aspects of direct and indirect tax compliance, accounting, and international tax planning. Prior to this role, Bob held the position of VP Tax Operations at Deloitte, where the focus was on assisting multinationals with US tax reforms and transforming global tax operating models. Bob also served as Chief Income Tax Officer at Vertex Inc, contributing significant thought leadership in global income tax compliance and technology solutions. With a solid foundation at Longview Solutions, Siemens, and Arthur Andersen, Bob has demonstrated expertise in tax technology, M&A, and operational strategy throughout a career spanning over three decades. Bob holds a Master of Science in Taxation from Villanova University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Penn State University.
