Liz Ring Carlson

Liz Ring Carlson is the Vice President of Corporate Communications, Community Relations, and Event Planning at Ameritas, a role held since August 2016, where leadership includes managing enterprise communications, media relations, and philanthropy initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as the Public Affairs Senior Manager at State Farm Insurance, overseeing external relations for a nineteen-state territory, and leading various teams in government, community, and media relations. With a Bachelor's degree in History focusing on Leadership Development from Kansas State University and obtaining the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation, Liz is also pursuing certification in Leadership, Mindset, and Goalsetting from the Napoleon Hill Institute, scheduled for completion in November 2024.
