Stephen Haas

Stephen Haas serves as the Executive Director, Head of Credit Trading, bringing over 30 years of sales and trading experience to AmeriVet Securities.

Most recently, he worked at Amherst Pierpont Securities in New York, where he was responsible for building Amherst’s Investment Grade Credit trading platform. Stephen is best known for his trading experience in bank, finance and insurance company debt, and is credited with developing a loyal institutional investor following.

Stephen has held senior positions at RBC Capital Markets, Bear Stearns & Co., and Morgan Stanley, honing his skills in risk management, client focused trade ideas and portfolio management.

Stephen graduated from Susquehanna University with a bachelor’s degree in English, alongside a minor in economics and is registered with his FINRA Series 7 and 63.
