Steven McKay

Steven Mckay is an experienced technician and manager with a robust background in logistics, maintenance, and process management. Currently serving as Detector Technician in Wet Lab Germanium Processing at AMETEK, Steven specializes in handling chemicals in a wet lab environment. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Protomet Corporation, where Steven managed a 12-person team overseeing the shipping and receiving of significant goods. Steven's extensive military career in the United States Air Force encompassed roles such as Strategic Planning Manager and Production Manager, where responsibilities included supervising large teams, managing multi-billion dollar programs, and coordinating logistics for aircraft maintenance. Steven holds an Applied Aircraft Technology degree from the Community College of the Air Force and a Life Cycle Logistician certification from Defense Acquisition University.
