Angel Escamilla

Angel Escamilla has over 20 years of experience in various roles related to engineering and quality management. Angel has worked for companies such as Amfas International, Espen Technology, Dialight, Transistor Devices Inc., Artesyn Embedded Technologies, Belden Inc., Sony Electronics, and Leviton. Throughout their career, Angel has held positions such as Director of Engineering, Director of Quality and Engineering, Director of Global Quality, Warranty Service, Director of Design Validation and Manufacturability, Sustaining Engineering Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Testing Engineering Supervisor, Design Engineer, and Product Engineer. Their responsibilities have included managing quality systems, improving operational processes, implementing data-driven approaches, introducing new products, leading project management initiatives, and driving cost reduction efforts. Angel is experienced in compliance to ISO standards and has a strong background in electrical and mechanical design.

Angel Escamilla's education history includes obtaining a Master's degree in Engineering Management from Penn State University between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, in 2008, Angel received a Diploma in Management Skills from Tecnológico de Monterrey. In 1999, Angel completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electronics Engineering from CETYS Universidad. Before that, from 1994 to 1999, Angel pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, also from CETYS Universidad. In addition to these qualifications, Angel obtained a certification in Operational Excellence Work-Out and Kaizen Facilitation from LinkedIn in March 2020.
