Sebastian Helmensdorfer is the Founder and Managing Director of Amfileon, where Sebastian also serves as the Quantitative Portfolio Manager. Prior to this, Sebastian worked as a Quantitative Analyst and Chief Investment Officer at Quants Vermögensmanagement. With previous experience as a Partner at RP Crest GmbH, a Quantitative Risk Manager at MEAG, and a Consultant at d-fine GmbH, Sebastian has a strong background in quantitative finance. Sebastian holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Warwick, a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, and completed their undergraduate studies at the Technical University of Munich.
