Benjamin Wigman

Benjamin Wigman is a Senior Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry at Amgen since July 2022, and previously held the position of Scientist at the same company. Prior to this, Benjamin served as a Visiting Researcher at Caltech from September 2021 to June 2022, and as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles from July 2017 to June 2022, where the advisor was Hosea Nelson and the thesis focused on the Generation and Reactivity of Vinyl Carbocations. Benjamin began research as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Davis from August 2015 to June 2017, under the guidance of Annaliese Franz. Benjamin earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from UCLA and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of California, Davis.
