Debby Salgado

Debby Salgado is a seasoned professional in the biopharmaceutical industry with extensive expertise in quality control and microbiology. Currently serving as Director of Quality Control at Amgen since October 2018, Debby leads various laboratory services, including Microbiology, Stability, and Certificate of Analysis Release. Debby's previous roles at Amgen include Senior Manager of QA for Aseptic Process Validation and Senior Manager Manufacturing at a Mammalian Cell Facility, where responsibilities encompassed aseptic validation and environmental control. Debby also held key positions at Bristol Myers Squibb and Abbott Health Products, focusing on microbiology testing, validation processes, and product quality assurance. Debby earned a Master’s Degree in Medical Microbiology and Zoology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology from the University of Puerto Rico, enhancing a strong educational foundation for a successful career.
