Dr. Matthew Foster

Dr. Matthew Foster, DBA, is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in technology strategy and innovation at Amgen, currently serving as Executive Director of Technology Ecosystem and Alliances, wherein external innovations and partnerships are curated to advance strategic priorities. Previously, Dr. Foster has held various leadership positions at Amgen, including directing the AI Strategy and Execution, where efforts on generative and predictive AI were paramount. With a strong foundation in business transformation and strategic planning at various organizations, including KPMG and Ernst & Young, Dr. Foster has a solid background in management consulting and operational excellence across fortune 500 companies. Dr. Foster holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Pepperdine University, an MBA in Finance from the University of Florida, and a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the United States Naval Academy.
