Sandra Thiemann

Sandra Thiemann currently serves as a Senior Principal Scientist at Amgen, where responsibilities include leading a team of scientists in the development and execution of bioassays, immunoassays, and molecular assays for large molecule therapeutics. Thiemann has substantial experience in delivering accurate bioassay results, conducting DNA testing, and supporting multiple projects across the pipeline within a cGMP certified organization. Prior roles at Amgen and UCLA focused on scientific research and posed an emphasis on the migration of dendritic cell populations. Sandra Thiemann holds a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Colorado Denver and an M.S. in Biology with a focus on Immunology from Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg, Germany.
