Tamer Nassar

Tamer Nassar is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in cloud engineering and advanced infrastructure. Currently serving as the Director of Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering at Amgen since 2023, Tamer is focused on enhancing project efficiency and implementing a multi-cloud strategy across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Prior to Amgen, Tamer held the position of Senior Leader for Advertisement Machine Learning Platforms at Meta Facebook, where the development of core delivery products and significant improvements in capacity and timeline efficiency were achieved. Tamer's career at IBM spanned over 15 years in various leadership roles, including Director of Hybrid Cloud and Cloud Transformation and Senior Technical Manager, where responsibility for accelerating hybrid cloud adoption was paramount. Tamer has also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at multiple universities while holding consulting roles at Aetna and Eastman Kodak. Tamer holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from The City College of New York and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Alexandria University.
