Yongjian Wang

Yongjian Wang is a seasoned professional in the field of chemical and biomolecular engineering with extensive experience in process development and solid-state engineering. Currently serving as a Process Development Senior Scientist at Amgen since June 2024, Yongjian previously held the position of Senior Scientist in Solid State & API Engineering at Boehringer Ingelheim from September 2022 to June 2024. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Research Scientist at J-STAR Research, Inc., where significant contributions involved designing and developing crystallization processes and conducting polymorph screening for active pharmaceutical ingredients. Yongjian's academic background includes a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Connecticut, supplemented by a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Sichuan University.
