Shawn Sampson

Shawn Sampson, CPA, has extensive experience in financial reporting and auditing, currently serving as VP of Financial Reporting at American Homes 4 Rent since May 2019. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Financial Reporting at Caesars Entertainment Corporation, where Shawn oversaw a team responsible for preparing SEC reporting documents and managing general ledger accounting, and Manager of Internal Audit at International Rectifier, where Shawn led Sarbanes-Oxley compliance projects. Earlier in the career at PwC, Shawn managed audits for prominent companies within the entertainment, media, and technology sectors. Education includes an MBA with a focus on Finance and Global Management from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BS in Accounting from the University of Southern California, complemented by study abroad programs in Japan.
