Fred Kass

Fred Kass currently serves as the Associate Chief Information Officer for IT Operations at Amherst College and is the Owner/Managing Member of a commercial and residential investment property LLC. With past roles including Associate Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Trinity College, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing IT infrastructure and managing a team of fourteen, and Faculty for the EDUCAUSE New Managers Series, Kass brings extensive experience in IT leadership. Earlier career positions include Assistant Director of Network and Systems at Mount Holyoke College, differentiating through design and implementation of network services for liberal arts institutions. Kass holds an MBA from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst and a BS in Economics and Information Systems from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
