Hanna Brooks

Hanna Brooks is an experienced technician and educator in the field of geochemistry and geology, currently serving as a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) Technician at Amherst College since June 2023. Brooks has held significant roles at the University of Maine, including Graduate Teaching Assistant teaching Introduction to Geology since August 2020, and Laboratory Manager from January 2019 to May 2020, where responsibilities included writing standard operating procedures, user training, and performing quality control testing. Previous experience includes positions as a Seasonal Sales Associate at Valleyview Building Supplies Ltd, Mailroom Clerk at the University of Alberta, Geoscientist-in-the-Park Intern with the National Park Service, and Metadata Services Technician at Virginia Tech.
