Hayley Hyde is currently the Head of Collections and Operations at the Beneski Museum of Natural History at Amherst College, overseeing a vast collection of 200,000 specimens and managing all aspects of collections management since October 2016. Prior experience includes serving as a Museum Technician for the National Park Service, conducting inventory and coordinating youth volunteers, and as a Curatorial Assistant at the Florida Museum of Natural History, where responsibilities included managing loans to the Smithsonian and engaging in research-related tasks. Additional roles have included faunal analyst, research assistant, and various internships and technician positions across notable institutions such as the American Museum of Natural History and the National Park Service. Hayley Hyde holds a Master of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from Florida State University.
