Marie Petrone

Marie Petrone, DSW, currently serves as the Director of Student & Family Wellness at Amherst County Public Schools, a position held since August 2017, where responsibilities include supervising wellness initiatives for students and families. Prior experience includes various roles at Horizon Behavioral Health from December 2006 to August 2017, including Case Manager, Crisis Clinician, Team Leader, and Program Manager. Marie has an extensive educational background with a Doctor of Social Work in Social Work and Leadership from the University of Southern California (2020-2023), a Master of Public Administration from Arkansas State University (2017-2019), a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Liberty University (2009-2011), and an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Delaware County Community College (2002-2004).
