Pedro Borga

Pedro Borga has a diverse work experience in the field of market access and pricing. Pedro is currently working as an Associate Director at Amicus Therapeutics, where they oversee market access and pricing strategies. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Manager at the same company. Pedro also worked as an Invited Lecturer at Invictus Sciences and held roles as an Associate Director and Senior Consultant at Valid Insight (part of the Bioscript Group). In addition, Pedro worked as a Lead Consultant at Amaris, where they managed market access projects and provided strategic advice to clients. Before that, they gained experience as a Senior Consultant, Consultant, and Senior Business Analyst at Lifescience Dynamics Limited. Pedro also worked as a Business Insights and Analytics Manager at Autolus Ltd. and as a Business Analyst at IMS Health. Pedro started their career as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative at Ferraz Lynce and as a Health Promotion and Education Associate at the Portuguese Pharmaceutical Society, Lisbon Regional Chamber.

Pedro Borga completed their high school education in the science branch at Escola Secundária do Restelo from 2005 to 2008. Pedro then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Lisbon from 2008 to 2013. In 2011, Pedro obtained a Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) from the University of Cambridge. Pedro also obtained a Pedagogical Aptitude Certificate from IEFP in 2013. Pedro further pursued postgraduate courses in Pharmacoeconomics at ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management in 2014 and in Medicines Legislation at FDL - Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon from 2013 to 2014. In 2019, they attended the Negotiation Programme at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and completed the Design and Interpretation of Clinical Trials course at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2020.
