Eleanor David currently serves as the President of Out in STEM at Carnegie Mellon University, the largest LGBT+ STEM student and professional network in the nation, while also working as a Research Assistant in the Polymer-Protein Synthesis Research Group, focusing on the conjugation of protein chains to polymers for enhanced environmental sustainability. Additionally, Eleanor tutors students in standardized testing and advanced science and math courses at Amikka Learning. Upcoming internship experiences include a role as a Salt Chemistry Intern at Kairos Power and a previous Manufacturing Engineering Internship at Procter & Gamble. Eleanor is pursuing dual degrees in Chemical Engineering, holding a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science from Carnegie Mellon University, expected to graduate in June 2025.
